Company HistoryEric Vanderburg has been interested in computers his entire life. Everywhere he went he was asked to fix some computer issue. He finally decided to start charging for the work so in 1997 he and Ian Ceicys started Independent Systems Consulting (ISC). The company started out solely servicing home user computer needs but as it grew Chris Bach took over end-user support and Eric was able to pursue networking solutions including large scale desktop deployment, network assessments, server troubleshooting, VPN configuration and more. Lead consultant, Ian Ceicys wworked with companies doing IT architecture, server engineering, and application development. We are strong proponents of IT certification. Our team members have obtained many vendor certifications displayed in the logos below. In 2002 the company web site was launched and ISC began doing web design work for several non-profit organizations. ISC officially expanded its service offerings later that year to include web site design, hosting, and software development. In late 2004 the company started offering security solutions to its client base and began working with local government agencies by doing security assessments and architecture designs.
